PLEASE NOTE:  Professional Video Services Inc. highly recommends that you transfer your repaired tape to another tape, or transfer to a DVD and save the repaired tape as a master copy.

Because it is very difficult for camcorders to pull a splice through the tape transport mechanism, it is very common for these small tapes to become stuck in these devices after they have been spliced (no matter who repairs them), resulting in costly repairs to camcorders.

*This is particularly important for smaller tape formats such as 8mm and Mini DV formats.

  Repair charges apply to Beta, VHS, S-VHS, VHS-C, S-VHS-C, 8MM, Hi 8, Digital 8 and Mini DV tapes.
